Multi-Flue Chimney Cap
Chimneys with more than one flue — a fireplace and a furnace, or two fireplaces — are usually capped with a separate lid on each tile, which leaves the crown exposed and gives wind a path to push exhaust from one flue into another. A multi-flue cap is a single fabricated stainless or copper lid covering the whole crown, with a full-perimeter skirt, spark-arrestor mesh, and enough height above the tiles to keep the draw clean. We measure the crown, the tile heights, and the spacing, then have it built to those numbers rather than forcing a stock size. Price follows crown size and the metal you choose. It goes on in the same trip as crown or cap work.
